Kamusta! (Hello!)
My name is Claudia Uy (last name pronounced "oy", pronouns: she/her/hers). I'm a New Jersey-based Graphic & UI/UX designer who has 3 years of professional experience. I have interned for NBC News & MSNBC, MAKE UP FOR EVER, and Rutgers University Student Affairs. I recently graduated from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, Mason Gross School of the Arts with a BFA in Design, Minor in Business Administration. I am currently seeking full-time opportunities, but am open to freelance opportunities as well.
I'm passionate about exploring diverse cultural identities, self-reflection, raising awareness towards mental health and BIPOC, and creating open dialogues about stigmatized topics through my work. I'm dedicated towards spreading empathy and positivity creatively through a variety of mediums; from branding to UI/UX. I'm particularly interested in exploring these interests formally through color, typography, and layout.

When I'm not designing, you will usually find me learning dances, updating my art journal, binge-watching shows on Netflix, or going to concerts.
